Purpose
Following a loft conversion of this investment property, Dudley Building Control required fire suppression to be installed to the ground floor habitable rooms due to a fire protected escape route being impractical to install.
Approach
Automist® was chosen as the preferred water mist system to protect the ground floor habitable rooms of this property due to Firemist being able to offer a turnkey installation without the need for other trades to be arranged.
The high powered Automist® pump was installed under the stairs and two intelligent wall mounted spray heads were installed to the ground floor rooms that form the escape route.
Outcome
Firemist installed this Automist® system as a turnkey installation, removing the requirements for any other trades to attend the site for the purpose of installing.
