Fire suppression for listed buildings
Fire suppression for listed buildings
Fire Mist recently installed Automist systems into two listed cottages located on Priory Row, Coventry.
Historic Coventry Trust has recently approved extensive renovations in order to preserve the buildings and allow members of the public to stay overnight in the listed buildings. In order to satisfy current building regulations, Automist Smartscan Hydra systems were installed into the three-storey buildings.
We were able to install the Automist systems causing minimal disruption, without the need for additional water requirements due to Automist requiring just 8 litres per minute in order to function.
The sleek design of Automist integrates into the properties discretely whilst providing intelligent fire suppression by applying water mist in the event of a fire. If a fire occurs, Automist applies water mist directly into the fire in order to suppress it by cooling, wetting surfaces and removing the oxygen required for the fire to burn.
