Rustic Primitive Pumpkin Sign on reclaimed pallet wood boo I painted a woolen appliquéA primitive sign made from pallet wood with a vintage Pumpkin advertisement. I used reclaimed pallet wood and sanded it using a lower grit in order to preserve the flaws of the wood. The sign was painted a background color, and then a vinyl stencil was placed over and painted black. I sanded the final layer to create a look that is rough and rustic looking. The sign can be hung using the attached D ring hook, or simply left propped up on a shelf,
