G&M Strathisla 1963 ABV 43% black tea and drying oakG&M Tasting Notes. NOSE: Fruity and elegant. A typical mix of sherry notes (baked apple, raisins, prune jam) with a little hint of rum, juicy oranges. Touches of mint and smoke, as well as some silky polished oak. PALATE: Smooth, a little less complex and a little less full flavoured as well and definitely woodier. Oily with hints of sherry that are covered in oak. Not to dry though. Orange peel and a hint of salt. FINISH: Long, not too dry, showing
