Give it bright indirect light. ( S, E or unscreened N window would be good). Water it weekly in summer and every 1 2 weeks in the colder months. A misting in between waterings will not hurt. If you choose to place it in a bathroom remember that it will receive more humidity which means you would have to soak mist less. Black base =too much water black
